A firefighter who got tired of the paperwork and decided to do something about it. It is a small operation, and you should know that before you put it in front of your crew.

Mic is a firefighter, and he built this for the reason every firefighter will recognise: nobody joins the fire service to write reports. The call is the job. The paperwork is the thing standing between you and going home. He set out to get rid of it.

He is also the person on the other end when a department needs help. If you talk to anyone here about getting set up, it will be him, and he will be talking to you as a firefighter rather than as a salesperson.

Why we built it

NERIS replaced NFIRS and the reporting did not get shorter. In a career department the paperwork lands on someone being paid to sit at a desk. In a volunteer company it lands on whoever will do it, after they have already gone home, and it competes with sleep.

Voice AI for this already exists inside the large records systems. It is an add-on, priced for departments with a software budget. The departments with the least slack for reporting are the ones least able to buy the thing that would fix it. That is the gap.

What we are not going to do

  • Invent numbers. Every department count on this site comes from the NERIS public directory, and every claim about the product traces to code you could ask us to show you. There are no testimonials on this site because we have not asked anybody for one. There is no customer count because publishing one this early would be a boast, not information.
  • Email your chief out of the blue. We do not build or buy lists of chiefs' email addresses. If your chief hears about this, it will be from you.
  • Claim a certification we do not have. The security page lists what we do not hold, by name.
  • Pretend the free months are forever. They are not, and the terms say so where you can see them before you commit a crew.
