    AFG — the Assistance to Firefighters Grant — asks Missouri departments to describe their call volume and how they operate, the same as it asks anywhere else in the country. Nothing in this repository ties NERIS reporting to AFG eligibility or scoring, so this page won't claim that connection exists, and a reporting vendor is the wrong source to invent one. What holds up on its own: a department running more than one station, like a lot of Missouri's do, can answer those operational questions faster from reports already filed per unit than by rebuilding a year of calls from separate station logs afterward.
